I am a Christian and my in-laws are Jewish (though not Orthodox) What should I do?
Sent to my wife and I holiday cards for days Jewish holy. Today, while shopping for Easter cards for my friends and parents of my wife, my wife said it was an "insult" to send a Jewish couple Easter card. Having accepted their cards for Easter and so on, I thought it would be appropriate for me to send cards congratulations regarding my faith. My wife told me firmly not to send Easter cards – even those who were not religious in nature. What do you think is appropriate in this situation?
If in doubt, do not. You can perhaps send a card Merry Christmas, but I'd say even that might be a bit more. Invite over them (or out) for dinner. No mention of the Passover, or anything. If they mention Easter, just said: "No, no – we'd really like you to dinner. "
