
The holidays are a time to enjoy the gratitude and love we feel for each other. Here are 25 meaningful ways to celebrate their union in this season.
1. Go for a nature walk near the family home to collect seasonal items that can be used as Christmas decorations. If you live near a forest, obvious choices are pine boughs and pinecones, but long dried grasses can look as festive tied with holiday ribbon.
2. Make some Christmas cards made hand this year as a family.
3. Make thank you cards. Replace the annual Christmas letter in your holiday cards with a brief letter of thanks the recipient.
4. Create or purchase new ornaments each year for the tree. Create or buy an ornament that reflects a defining event or sentiment for the year.
5. Enjoy a family night with special holiday crafts or games.
6. Start a Christmas-themed puzzle somewhere in your house. A puzzle table, placed in a quiet room and is ideal for tourists. Every time your customers want to escape the action, which may be withdrawn to work in the puzzle. This can be a great stress reliever and it's wonderful for those guests who always have to be busy doing something.
7. Play special music. What is a CD of everyone's favorite holiday? Allow each family member to choose and keep the CD changer for every musical taste is represented.
8. Take a photo of her children standing in a particular place every year – in front of the tree by the front door – any place that is consistent from year to year. Make a special holiday ornament or scrapbook album that represents the growing and changing their family each year.
9. Research the Christmas traditions of your nationality. Take some of these traditions in their annual celebration each year to celebrate their heritage.

Use your Joy Journal as a reminder of the facets of his life (and this holiday season) that are really important.
24. Give small gifts and simple (homemade cookies or a small book) to some of the people that make your everyday life easier, such as garbage collection and the postman.
25. Share your family traditions with friends and ask them to tell about family traditions that make their holidays sweeter.
